About the Sunbeam Snake
Famous for its intensely iridescent scales, which flash rainbow colors in sunlight because of their microscopic layered structure. It spends most of its time burrowing in soft soil and is active at night. It is considered a primitive snake, keeping some features of ancient snake lineages. Harmless to people.
