About the Childrens Python

A small python of northern Australia. Its name honors John George Children, a curator at the British Museum, not any suitability for children, although its gentle nature has made it a popular pet. Brown with darker blotches that fade as it ages. It has been observed catching bats at cave entrances. One of the smallest members of the python family.
