About the African Rock Python
The largest snake in Africa, reaching 6 meters. Have been documented eating small crocodiles and antelope. Two distinct subspecies: the Southern African Rock Python and the Central African Rock Python. Protected in South Africa. Their powerful constriction can exert immense pressure. Females coil around their eggs and shiver to generate heat for incubation.
