About the Russells Viper

Responsible for more human deaths than almost any other snake in Asia. Their venom causes massive internal bleeding and tissue destruction. When threatened, they produce the loudest hiss of any snake — a sound like a pressure cooker. They are attracted to rodents near human settlements. Their chain-like pattern provides camouflage in dry grass. Can strike with incredible speed despite their stout body.
