About the Puff Adder
Responsible for the most snakebites in Africa. They rely on camouflage and will not move until the last second. Their strike is one of the fastest of any snake. The puff sound they make is a warning. Have exceptionally long fangs for their size. Can give birth to 80+ live young. They are lazy — often found basking on paths where they are stepped on.
