About the Philippine Cobra

Found on Luzon, Mindoro, and nearby islands of the northern Philippines. Considered one of the most venomous cobras, with almost purely neurotoxic venom that can cause respiratory failure. It can also spit venom. Lives in grassland, forest, and rice fields, where it hunts rodents and frogs. Usually a uniform light brown in color, without the bold hood markings of other cobras.
