About the Black Mamba
The fastest snake in the world, reaching 20 km/h. Not actually black — they are gray to olive. The name comes from the inky black inside their mouth. Extremely aggressive when cornered. Before antivenom, a bite was 100% fatal within 20 minutes. They can strike 12 times in seconds. Despite their speed, they prefer to flee. Found in the same regions as the Boomslang and Egyptian Cobra.
