About the Paradise Flying Snake
One of the few snakes that can glide through the air. It launches from a branch, flattens its body into a concave shape, and undulates as it glides to another tree or the ground. Research has shown its body acts like a wing during flight. Its green and black scales are marked with red or orange spots. Rear-fanged with very mild venom that is harmless to people.
