About the Corn Snake
One of the best beginner pet snakes — docile, easy to care for, and beautiful. Named for their belly pattern that resembles Indian corn kernels, not because they eat corn. Excellent climbers despite having no specialized climbing adaptations. Help control rodent populations. Breed readily in captivity with over 800 documented color morphs. Can live 20+ years.
