About the Cape Cobra

One of the most dangerous African cobras due to their willingness to enter human settlements. Their venom is both neurotoxic and cytotoxic. Come in multiple color morphs: yellow, brown, black, and speckled. Fast-moving and agile. Responsible for the most snakebite fatalities in the Western Cape of South Africa. Posture with raised hood when threatened.
