About the Blue Malayan Coral Snake

A vivid snake with a dark blue body and bright red head and tail. Its venom glands are unusually long, extending far back into its body. Its venom contains a toxin that causes muscles to contract all at once, unlike most snake venoms which cause paralysis. It feeds mainly on other snakes, including venomous species, earning it the nickname killer of killers.
