About the Black-necked Spitting Cobra

Can accurately spray venom at eyes from 3 meters. The venom causes intense pain and potential blindness but is rarely fatal with treatment. They raise their hood and spread their neck before spitting. Nocturnal hunters. Two color morphs: black and red. Often found near human settlements where they hunt rodents attracted to garbage.
